Custom Tabulations and Confidential Data Requests

The Department of Workforce Development’s Labor Market Information section regularly collects, analyzes, and publishes information about Wisconsin’s labor markets. In addition to employment and unemployment data, LMI provides information on industries, occupations, wages and labor market trends. Most of these data are available for the state and counties. These data are available through-out this site.

Custom Data Tabulations

Upon request, LMI provides custom data tabulations for customers requiring greater industry or geographic detail.

Standard Name and Address Program (SNAP)

  • This is a database containing names and addresses of employers covered by Wisconsin’s Unemployment Insurance Law.

  • We can also provide NAICS code, location code, ownership code and employment range for each name. When available we can also provide a physical location address.

  • We can sort the database to meet specific customer criteria, for example by county, county and municipality, industrial classification (NAICS), size range of firm’s employment, zip code, employer name (alphabetically), type of firm ownership (Federal, state, or local government or Private non-government).

  • Media available include CD, gummed labels, Cheshire labels (this product would require that you have access to a labeling machine), or a printed listing.
Frequency: as requested by customer.

Geography:
state, county, or county & municipality

Printed list, Cheshire labels or CD: $253.50
Gummed labels: add $5.75 per 1,000 labels

Suggestions for use:

For mailings to a specific audience, Labels (Cheshire or gummed) can be applied directly to the mailing. For research or multiple mailings to specific employers, by industry, employment size, area of the state, a paper list or CD may be most useful.
