Affirmative Action Data Explained

Labor Force Demographic Data

The data in this publication has been prepared by the Department of Workforce Development (DWD). The labor force totals by demographics and occupational sector will be revised and published every two years. The occupational data estimates for racial, ethnic and gender by occupation use the 2006 - 2010 American Community Survey (ACS) from the US Census Bureau. A five year ACS file is considered to be the most robust and enables detailed occupational data for racial, ethnic for each Wisconsin County.

These reports should be used only for Affirmative Action planning. Direct use of this data may not fulfill the needs of an individual employer; additional analysis of these data may be necessary to derive additional information.
